During my recent business trip to Kufstein, I had the pleasure of staying at the Aparthotel Backstage, which surprised me in the most delightful ways. Though I initially anticipated a typical boarding house experience based on its exterior signage, I found the facilities to be modern, exceptionally clean, and well-decorated - perfect after a long day of meetings. The host, Simone, deserved a special mention for her patience; she guided us through the electronic entry system since it was our first experience with such technology. The location is a gemstone, just a short 5-10 minute stroll from the train station, which made navigating the area seamless. Breakfast was a delightful inclusion, giving us a robust start to our exploratory days, and I highly recommend asking for the KufsteinerlandCard upon check-in - it unlocks complimentary access to local attractions, which unfortunately I discovered too late. The apartment itself was well equipped, featuring soundproofed walls that ensured quiet evenings, a comfortable bed for a restful night, and a kitchenette ideal for light meals. If you're someone who treasures comfort and cleanliness, whether traveling solo or with family, this is certainly a place I would return to and heartily recommend to fellow travelers seeking both relaxation and convenience.
